Diversity creates vitality |

Vitality is a biological phrase. The professionals of STRATCH view organisations as living organisms. An organism is healthy when it adjusts to its surroundings and is able to grow (survival of the most adaptable). Therefore, for an organisation it is necessary to create opportunities for growth and progress and learn to adapt to an ever changing environment. In fact, the organisation should strive for a growing ability to adapt. To compare, in agriculture so-called monoculture is a recipe for disaster. Organisations are subject to the same law as well. Developments and diversity in organisations create health and adaptability. Individual staff peformance clearly is linked to the environment hence adaptability. STRATCH considers the following three elements as core for vitality in an organisation: performance, job satisfaction and energy. These three elements can be measured by the STRATCH Human & Corporate Vitality Scan and are developed and implemented by all individuals involved.
